Work Continues, June 5 Set For Progress Report

The intensive work of gathering information to provide architect David Schultz and his team with input regarding St. Luke’s proposed renovation program continues.  Immediately following worship on Sunday, June 5, Schultz will give the congregation a progress report and provide preliminary drawings.  (See the May 1 edition of the Kairos Times for further information.)

In April, two cottage meetings were conducted to gather further feedback from congregation members; additionally, the Omega Capital Sub-Committee began gathering information on possible funding sources and ways to conduct a capital campaign.  In addition, members of the Omega, Sanctuary and Property Committees met with Schultz to clarify information from both the congregational and ministry surveys.  Schultz will be working during May to form preliminary proposals based on St. Luke’s priorities and guidance.

Forums for discussion and meetings with the architect will continue following the June 5 informational meeting.
