On July 12, St. Luke celebrated the last Sunday in the existing sanctuary before renovation begins. The congregation shared memories in the sanctuary, then sang "Forward through the Ages" during a procession outside for an official groundbreaking. A Litany of New Beginnings and symbolic groundbreaking were conducted, then the congregation proceeded to Heller Fellowship Hall, singing "We are Marching in the Light of God." In Heller Hall, Pastor David led a Litany of Consecration. Worship in Heller Hall begins July 19.
